Who wants family snow pictures to add to your collection of images?! I do, I do!! We had an early November snow and even though I was not excited about it and the thought of potentially having snow for 6 months, it was beautiful! There is a location I’ve driven by for the past year and always think, that’s a perfect place to take pictures. It SNOWED. We got up and went to basketball Saturday morning, and drove past “the spot”. The trees were draped in snow and it was gorgeous! After we got home I decided since it wasn’t freezing cold and we didn’t have anything else to do that day, I told the kids we are going to take snow pictures! Some were excited, some not so much. In about 5 minutes, I threw some matchy, coordinated outfits together, bribed them with hot chocolate and out the door we went.
So all in all it went well. But taking your own kids pictures can be tricky and of course, a little bickering and a whole lot of me saying “don’t fall in the snow!”, “don’t push”! If one goes down, the hands get cold and knees are wet, it’s over. We made it.. got some awesome snow pictures, and I couldn’t be happier. If you want family snow pictures, be sure to let me know early! You never know when the perfect snow will hit. Be sure to PIN these pictures by clicking on the red “save” button!
